People in the USA love high tech devices and this has been proven by the way in which LTE smart phone adoption in the United States has soared according to a recent report.
LTE smart phones are able to provide many benefits to both casual and business users, which is why so many people are keen to get their hands on one of these high tech devices. Many people in the United States are eager to have the latest and greatest devices as they hit the shelves and LTE smart phones are no exception if recent figures are anything to go by.
According to a recent report the US has taken the firm lead when it comes to the adoption of LTE smart phones, with adoption levels soaring compared to other countries. The new study was carried out by TeleGeography and showed that US communications giant Verizon had a massive sixty percent of global LTE subscribers, with around 3.1 million subscriptions.
However, whilst the USA is patting itself on the back with the revelation of this figures – even though they do not come as any great surprise – there is stiff competition in the wings in the form of Asia-Pacific, which is set to enjoy huge growth over the coming few years when it comes to LTE technology devices and adoption.
Whilst some believe that this competition means that the USA will not keep a hold of this lead for too long, the recent reports claiming that Apple will be launching LTE versions of the iPhone and iPad next year could see another huge boost in LTE subscriptions.
